Alexander Daniels Global is currently working with an exciting and rapidly growing start up, which is engaged in an industry 4.0 solution for the industrial manufacturing world.

This company is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in Germany, preferably in the Frankfurt area. This person will be responsible for finding and collaborating with customers to understand their needs and issues, and provide them with a solution incorporating the product portfolio.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company, that has several key clients in place and dozens of successful product installation across the world.

Responsibilities include:
  • Further development of the North and West territory in Germany
  • Developing leads and business with industrial customers in industries like aerospace, automotive and general manufacturing
  • Represent the company at all stakeholder levels towards clients, from C-level through t the teams on the shopfloor
  • Develop relationships with clients over several sites and countries, depending on the client’s rate of adoption
  • Growing the brand and reputation of the company in the assigned territory
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients

For this position we are looking for someone well versed in solution focused sales, preferably within hardware, selling to industrial clients. Sales and business development professionals, with experience managing sales cycles exceeding 9 months, for high value capital equipment will also be considered for this role.
  • A background in engineering or manufacturing, with direct experience on the shopfloor
  • Experience with lean/six sigma/operation excellence and the principles associated with these
  • Proven experience in developing relationships and dealing with multiple stakeholders in a company.
  • Fluent in Business German
